Promoting Interreligious Dialogue in Nineveh: A Step Toward Social Cohesion and Unity

CategoriesArticles
✨ As part of our mission to promote interreligious dialogue in Nineveh, Madarat, in partnership with AIM, launched the first activities of the 2025 Dialogue Projects, supported by #KAICIID.
📍 Our first coordination and networking meeting brought together religious actors from different regions of Nineveh into a safe and open space to explore opportunities for collaboration based on shared citizenship and social cohesion.
🛠️ We also conducted the first training workshop on tools and methodologies for interreligious dialogue, effective facilitation, and trust-building — paving the way for community-led initiatives by emerging local changemakers.
💬 The sessions were filled with powerful stories, great discussion, and a genuine commitment to rebuilding trust and countering hate speach.
🙏 We sincerely thank Muthaberon Foundation for graciously hosting these activities by voluntarily providing the venue and professional support, which greatly contributed to the success of the event.
🙏 We also extend our gratitude to #KAICIID for their generous support to these activities under the #Dialogue360 project and the #DialoguePlatform, and for their belief in the power of dialogue to build stronger, cohesive communities.
💡We believe that inclusive cooperation that embraces diversity is key to building stronger and more resilient communities — and this is just the beginning!
