Our Mission
Madarat Al-Salam Organization for Sustainable Development (Madarat) is a not-for-profit and non-governmental Iraqi organization that seeks to empower community-led transformative peacebuilding approaches in post-conflict settings.
At the heart of our mission lies the concept of the ‘Transformative Peace Nexus’, whereby our approaches revolve around a holistic strategy that addresses the root causes of conflicts, promotes systemic shifts, and encourages collaboration, both vertically and horizontally.
