Haider Al Ibrahimi

Mr. Al Ibrahimi has an impressive 13-year uninterrupted track record in designing and managing the implementation of peacebuilding interventions across Iraq. He has led successful interventions that resulted in the mitigation of violent conflicts and the realization of peace agreements in Salah Al Din, Nineveh, Anbar, Kirkuk, Sulaimaniyah, and Basrah. Since 2015, he has also spearheaded efforts to support the establishment, institutionalization, and capacity building of local peace structures across Iraq.

Over the years, Mr. Al Ibrahimi has effectively contributed to shaping peacebuilding programming for various national and international organizations in Iraq, as well as formal authorities. He ensures that these interventions are inclusive, conflict-sensitive, participatory, and take into account local context dynamics and community needs. Mr. Al Ibrahimi is the founder and CEO of Peace Paradigms Organization (PPO), a local consultancy firm specializing in providing context-specific peacebuilding solutions for peacebuilding actors.
